SPECIALIZED COURSEWORK AND TRAINING AT ACC:
Architectural/Residential: Used AutoCAD and Revit to create site plans, foundation plans, floor plans,
elevations, roof framing, cabinet details, wall and floor sections for personal usage. Created a 1000 ft2 two-story
house and used manufacturers specs to decide on windows and doors.
Architectural/Commercial: Used AutoCAD and Revit to prepare detailed working drawings site plans,
foundation plans, floor plans, elevations, roof framing and wall sections for commercial buildings and acquired
knowledge in the building materials used complying with the 2009 International Building Code.
Structural Drafting: Used AutoCAD and Revit to create multi-sheet construction documents which included use
of externally referenced files, sections and details. Knowledge in drafting foundation and framing systems used in
modern residential and light commercial constructions commonly used in the Southwest region of the United
States.
Civil Drafting: Used AutoCAD to create site plan drawings for land development project implementing local
jurisdiction design criteria utilizing industry standard CAD software.
Geographic Information Systems (GIS): Learned the basic principles and techniques of GIS like compiling,
analyzing and presenting geospatial data while emphasizing the value of visual communication.
Mechanical Drafting & CAD/CAM: Used Inventor, Solidworks and MasterCAM to create detail and assembly
drawings of machine parts within the ANSI Y14.5-1994 standards and created tool paths for CNC Mill and Lathe.
